The Gay Man's Underwear Dilema

Gay men are undeniably a bulk of the designer underwear market where it is normal to pay more than $25 for a single pair of underwear. Every gay man faces the necessity of owning a few pairs of flashy underwear for those times when you don't want to be caught in your less than attractive store brand undies. But the real problem arises when after you have had a taste of the sweet life you become unsatisfied with what used to be perfectly fine, every day, store brand underwear.
This is where myself and I am sure almost every gay man faces the daunting problem of trying to equip themselves with a full arsenal of underwear that no longer includes the now insufficient 5 for $10 deals at Target. Believe it or not it gets worse the problem doesn't end with the purchase of enough overpriced swatches of fabric to get you through the week to laundry day. Once you have the 7 day supply acquired with the death of your piggy bank you find out that not all designer underwear is created equal. Your work day briefs are not the same as the athletic assortment you need for the gym or the sexy trunks you show off in the bedroom.
This second underwear revelation is even more costly than the first and defines the definite end of your old friends that came in multi packs. At this point I asked myself for the first time what the hell am I doing spending this much money on underwear? It was then that I discovered the special illogical place that underwear holds in a gay mans life. No matter how you try to escape it you will always be lured by the sirens song of designer underwear.
